Find Out Now: What Should You Do After a Car Crash Accident

After a car crash, it can be hard to know what to do next. Should you call the police? Should you exchange insurance information? What if there are no witnesses and it’s just your word against the other drivers? In this blog post, we will explore what you should do after a car crash.

From exchanging insurance information to filing a police report, we will cover everything you need to know to protect yourself and your interests after an accident.

Stop and Assess the Situation

After a car accident, it is important to stop and assess the situation. This includes checking for injuries, damage to the vehicles, and any potential hazards.

If there are no injuries and the vehicles are not severely damaged, you may be able to move them to the side of the road.

However, if there are injuries or severe damage, it is best to leave the vehicles where they are and call for help.

Once you have assessed the situation, you can then take steps to prevent further accidents, such as turning on your hazard lights or setting up flares.

Hazard lights help warn other drivers of potential danger, so it is important to turn them on as soon as possible after a car accident. Setting up flares can also help warn other drivers and may help prevent secondary accidents. Keep in mind, however, that you should not put yourself in danger by setting up flares or directing traffic. If you are not comfortable doing so, wait for law enforcement or another emergency responder to arrive.

Have a Lawyer on Hand

If you are involved in a car accident, it is important to have a lawyer on hand to help you navigate the legal process. A car accident lawyer can help you understand your rights and options and can represent you in court if necessary. If you are injured in a car accident, you may be entitled to compensation for your medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. A lawyer can help you get the compensation you deserve. If the other driver was at fault for the accident, a lawyer can also help you file a claim against the insurance company. Insurance companies are often reluctant to pay out on claims, but a lawyer can give you the best chance of getting the full amount of compensation you deserve.

Call the Police

If you are involved in a car crash, the first thing you should do is call the police. This will ensure that a police report is filed and that any necessary evidence is collected. You should also exchange information with the other driver, including your name, contact information, and insurance information. If there are any witnesses to the accident, be sure to get their contact information as well.

Exchange Information

If you have been in a car accident, it is important to exchange information with the other driver. You will need to get the following information from the other driver:
  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Insurance company name and policy number

It is also important to exchange information with any witnesses to the accident. Get their names and contact information so that you can follow up with them later if necessary. If you have been in a car accident, do not hesitate to contact a personal injury lawyer to help you navigate the legal process. The information you exchange with the other driver and witnesses will be important evidence in your case. Not only that, but an experienced lawyer can help you maximize your chances of recovering damages for your injuries.

Take Pictures

If you are physically able, take pictures of the car crash accident scene, including any property damage and injuries.

If you have a camera phone, use that. Otherwise, ask a bystander to take photos for you. Be sure to get close-up shots of any vehicle damage as well as any injuries you or your passengers have sustained.

It’s also important to take photos of the other driver’s car, license plate, and insurance information.

When taking pictures, keep in mind that an insurance company will be looking for proof of injuries and damages to your vehicle, so take as many photos as you can.

Contact Your Insurance Company

If you have been involved in a car accident, the first thing you should do is contact your insurance company. They will be able to help you with the next steps to take and will handle all of the paperwork for you. It is important to contact your insurance company as soon as possible after an accident so that they can start working on your claim. Be sure to have all of the necessary information ready when you call, such as the date and time of the accident, where it occurred, and the names and contact information of any witnesses. For instance, with collateral protection insurance, you will want to have the contact information for the other driver's insurance company as well. This will make the process smoother and help ensure that you receive the proper compensation for your damages.

Once you have contacted your insurance company, they will likely send an adjuster to assess the damage to your vehicle and determine how much your claim is worth. They will also investigate the other driver's insurance coverage and may even contact them directly to try and settle the claim. After your insurance company has investigated the accident and collected all of the necessary information, they will make a decision on how to proceed with your claim. In most cases, they will either pay out your claim or deny it. If they deny your claim, they will provide you with a written explanation of their decision.

Additionally, it is important to remember that you have a duty to cooperate with your insurance company during their investigation of the accident. This means that you should answer any questions they have truthfully and provide them with any information or documentation they request. If you do not cooperate with your insurance company, they may deny your claim or refuse to pay for certain damages.

After a car crash, the most important thing to do is to seek medical attention. Even if you feel fine, it's essential to get checked out by a doctor or go to the emergency room. Once you've been medically cleared, you can start gathering evidence and taking steps to protect your legal rights. The sooner you take action, the better chance you have of protecting yourself and getting the compensation you deserve.

Dudes! Are you really asking that? Ok, we et it there are alot of dodgy folks online these days trying to make a quick buck. We are a small team of bikers, generally adventuring around on our various bikes (supermoto's, adventure, naked street and enduro bikes). If you email us you will generally get our CEO Sam or one of our other support staff who love the motorcycle community and are a part of it wherever we go. Everything is legit as soon as you make an order, it is processed immediately and on the way to you.

Yes & No. We sell a wide range of pants which DO have protective knee and hip pads and are suitable for motorcycle riding AND we also sell biker style jeans and pants which, although are all made of durable tough material are not certified for safety and do not have the protective padding needed in case you do get a little too throttle heavy and lay your bike down (we have all been there and done that!). Please check each product and contact us if you have any questions on this.

Since we offer a wide range from various manufacturers, they all have their own sizing per brand. However there is a sizing chart on each product page, look for the tab just above the description or the size chart link on the right side, or email us and we can recommend the size for you.

PLEASE NOTE : the size charts are taken directly from the manufacturer and the length is incorrect on some, the length is generally a standard length based on the waist size (waist size is correct on all size charts).

Typically the standard FREE shipping (which has full online track and trace) takes anywhere from 7 to 40 days, depending on your country. We also offer an expedited shipping service for a low fee of $4.95. Please see the shipping page for more detailed info.
